TALKING POINTS ABOUT LIVERPOOL'S SEASON SO FAR

Liverpool's title charge has a stronger hint of realism about it than any side since Rafa, Rodgers or Houllier, Klopp does not have it all in his own hands but his version of Liverpool have the steel in midfield and defence plus the goal-scorers up-front to win the Title if Man City slip up.

Points of Note on the Season so far:
  • Allison yet to convince fans: The big Brazilian is poor in possession and sloppy with his passes.
  • Van Dijk is a monster in defence. He has been a colossus all Season but marking two Spurs attackers on his own without conceding a goal was world class.
  • Why did we let Nathaniel Clyne leave on loan. Surely Klopp should have kept the experienced full-back as cover for the talented young Alexander-Arnold.
  •  Give Shaqiri more time on the pitch. The talented Swiss player can turn a game on its head and should be playing more.
  • Salah. Score a few more before the end of the Season please.
  • Man City. Stop winning all the time, you did us before, this time the League is ours so bugger off.
  • Seems Coutinho has not made the best of starts at Barcelona, not playing well. Often not starting, being subbed, be careful what you wish for young lad.
  • We are not playing our best football but we are grinding out results which may be good enough to win the Premiership.
